Singer Bursaries

Sirens Choral Association Inc. believes that every child with the desire to sing should have access to choral music education. We are thrilled to partner with Oliver’s Song! The Oliver Underhay Bursary will cover tuition costs for singers interested in participating in Harmonia.

Oliver Underhay was a little boy who loved to create, loved to make music, and loved to play. Oliver’s Song was founded to honour his memory and his legacy, partnering with Island arts-based summer camps and school year programs to offer the Oliver Underhay Arts Bursary program, helping to provide opportunities for all children in Prince Edward Island to learn, grow, and share in arts education.

Together, we believe every child should have access to arts education.

Need will be assessed based on the following:

  • number of children registered for our programs
  • distance travelled to rehearsals
  • number of incomes in family
  • number of dependents in family
  • your child’s interest in music and desire to sing
  • consistent attendance and adherence to choir’s policies and expectations

Applications will be reviewed by the artistic staff, and you will be notified when a decision has been made.

Please contact Kelsea McLean to apply.
